For decanters
Everything you need to sell on Air Decants.
We selectively onboard new decanters. If you're a serious fragrance enthusiast or collector with authentic bottles and a track record of sales — whether from online fragrance communities, marketplaces, or elsewhere — we'd love to hear from you.
Reach out through our contact page with a bit about yourself, your collection, and where you've sold before. We personally vet every seller before granting access.
Once approved, you'll need to complete your seller profile, connect a payout account, and configure your shipping settings before your listings go live. All three need to be in place before your first sale can be processed.
From your seller dashboard, go to your inventory and search for the fragrance you want to list. If it's already in the Air Decants catalog, you can attach your decant to that listing. If it doesn't exist yet, you can submit it for review.
For each listing you'll set your available sizes, price per size, and inventory quantity. Listings go live once approved.
You can sell decants from any authentic fragrance you own. All samples must be genuine — no clones, dupes, or reformulated substitutes sold under the original name. Air Decants reserves the right to remove listings that don't meet authenticity standards.
Pricing is up to you. You set a price per ml for each size you offer. Keep in mind that Air Decants takes a platform fee from each sale, so factor that into your pricing. The platform fee is shown in your seller dashboard.
When a buyer places an order, you'll receive a notification and a pre-paid shipping label generated through our carrier integration. You pack the order, attach the label, and drop it off. Tracking is automatically shared with the buyer.
You're responsible for packing samples securely and shipping within your stated handling time.
You can set your handling time — the number of business days it takes you to pack and ship after an order is placed — in your seller settings. Be realistic. Buyers can see your handling time before they order, and consistently slow handling affects your seller rating.
International shipping is optional. You can set which countries or regions you ship to in your seller settings. If you enable international shipping, be aware that fragrance is subject to customs regulations in many countries and some carriers restrict shipping liquids internationally. Check your carrier's guidelines before enabling it.
Damage caused by the carrier during transit is generally covered by the carrier's shipping protection, not by you as the seller. If a buyer reports a damaged package, direct them to file a claim with the carrier. You can assist by providing the tracking number and any documentation needed for the claim.
That said, proper packing is your responsibility. Using adequate cushioning and leak-proof containers reduces the risk and strengthens any claim if something does go wrong.
Go to your seller dashboard and navigate to Payouts. From there you can connect your bank account or payout method. We use Stripe to process payouts, so you'll go through a brief Stripe onboarding to verify your identity and link your account.
You must complete payout setup before any earnings can be disbursed.
Payouts are triggered automatically once an order is marked as delivered and any applicable hold period has passed. The hold period exists to allow time for any buyer issues to surface before funds are released. You can view your pending and completed payouts in your seller dashboard.
Air Decants charges a platform fee on each completed sale. The current fee rate is shown in your seller dashboard. Stripe's payment processing fees also apply and are deducted before your payout.
You set your own return policy as a seller. Buyers can see your policy before they purchase. Because fragrance samples are personal-use items, most sellers do not accept returns — but you are free to offer them at your discretion.
Whatever policy you set, you're expected to honor it. Disputes involving sellers who don't follow their stated policy may be escalated to Air Decants for review.
If you sent the wrong item, reach out to the buyer promptly and make it right — whether that's a replacement, a refund, or another resolution you both agree on. Mistakes happen, but responsiveness and accountability matter. Your seller rating depends on how you handle issues, not just whether they occur.
